Did you know that cancer will soon strike one of every two people in Québec?
And that every year, one in 400 children will get cancer?
All of us will be faced at one point in our own lives with that hard reality.
To maximize our chances to defeat cancer, we must develop the best research, prevention and screening methods, and we must make available the best healthcare, services and support at that difficult time. Let's get together, so we can discuss these. Spread the word around you, and invite friends and family to come attend with you the

Why hold these États généraux ?
The États généraux de la lutte contre le cancer au Québec will be a large gathering of people, bringing together thousands who want to get a clear picture of the fight against cancer in Québec. They will have the opportunity to discuss, and choose, a course of action that will make the fight against cancer a real national priority, so we can improve the chances of survival and the quality of life of people living with cancer.

More than ever, such a large assembly is necessary. This is why your presence is crucial. Spread the word around you, and join the Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on Saturday, September 29th.

Who should be interested?
Everyone, young and old, parents and children should want to attend. Because cancer is the first cause of mortality in Québec, because it carries enormous social and economic costs, and because it strikes at all levels and in all sectors of our society.

The États généraux are open to all those concerned by this disease, particularly people living with cancer, their friends and their families, employers, trade unions, caregivers, and all the organizations involved in the fight against cancer. These are the people who must face this disease daily. And this event represents a unique opportunity to stand united and to make our voices heard.

Simply fill and return the registration form , enclosing a payment of $20 (which includes registration fees, lunch and breaks). Your payment must be sent by mail, but you can choose one of three ways to send your registration form:
